Our small-batch meals are made from scratch bi-weekly, then frozen for pick-up or delivery. Every other Wednesday, a new menu drops and the previous menu’s orders are available for pick-up or delivered anywhere in Calgary. Find everything you need to know on our How It Works page.

No! Order as much or as little as you’d like, whenever you’d like. No minimum orders, subscriptions, or commitments. Stock your freezer, and reorder when you’re ready—we’ll be here.

Meals are delivered every other Wednesday, the same day a new menu drops, for a flat-rate fee of $11.25. Check your confirmation email for your delivery date (or double-check the banner on the site ↑). We deliver between 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. Don’t worry: You’ll receive a text when your meals leave our kitchen, so you can track your order and be home when it arrives (within two hours of it leaving).

Meals can be picked up every other Wednesday, the same day a new menu drops. Check your confirmation email for your pick-up date (or double-check the banner on the site ↑). You can pick up between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. When you arrive at our kitchen, text your name and vehicle make and model to the number in your confirmation email, and we’ll bring your order to you, drive-in style.

When you unbox your meals, you’ll find instructions for thawing, reheating or baking each meal.

Yes! Some meals are free from common allergens like gluten and dairy, which are labeled on their product page. If you don’t see a label, read the ingredient list to be safe. Please be mindful that we cook all of our meals in a shared commercial kitchen, so cross-contamination is possible.

As much as we would love to personalize meals to you and your family, we’re a two-woman show, so we can’t accommodate ingredient substitutions on small orders. If you’d like to request a custom order with a minimum order volume, we can personalize ingredients to your heart’s content.

Please note that Meals for Mamas menu changes less frequently than the standard current menu.

Serving sizes depend on the meal! The majority of our meals are made to feed either a couple or a family of four, and you’ll select your preferred serving size when you add the meal to your cart. Other meals—like stew—are sold by volume, or by quantity (hello, breakfast burritos).

Like surprises? Our Chef’s Choice Bundles are a curated selection of Fed By Alex meals at a discounted price. You select your budget (from $75 to $300), then share your dietary and delivery preferences at checkout, and we’ll select meals from our current and past menus to satisfy your appetite.

And because we’re choosing the meals for you from our overstock, they’re already made, so we can deliver within three business days, making them the perfect gift for loved ones who are short on time (or energy) to cook. You’ll receive an email notification as soon as your order is ready for pick-up or delivery.

Like our main menu, our Meals for Mamas are made fresh and delivered frozen to stock any new mama’s freezer. But unlike our main menu, our Meals for Mamas menu does not rotate bi-weekly—it’s a permanent menu (with seasonal refreshes), which means every meal is made to order and delivered within five business days—much quicker than our main menu, which is made in small batches. You’ll receive an email notification as soon as your order is ready for pick-up or delivery.
